Déjà vu(The Regular Gee)

Here he lay on his partly covered bed like a log of wood. He rolled like a stone that gathers no moss. At about 7.30, an alarm went off in his head. Yawning and stretching lazily, he rose from his slumber with a slight headache and a feeling of nausea; A hangover-- The result of his excessive drinking the previous night. Used to the symptoms already as every pregnant woman was used to morning sickness. He took off his pajamas and went through a pile of clothes on the floor by his bed, searching for something to throw on. He was about to step out.

Walking down the street, he exchanged pleasantries with almost everyone he came across; His Peeps. He had know 'em, since he was a lad.
"Uncle Taofeek!" A voice called. He turned to see who it was. It was Bintu, The Food Vendor's daughter.
"Bintu, how are you? " Taofeek smiled broadly.
"I'm fine, Sir. Mama said I should call you to come check the freezer." Bintu said.
"What's the matter with the freezer?" He enquired.
"I don't know o."
'Tell her I'll come in the afternoon."

Alas! He arrived at the Newspaper Stand at the bus-stop. The sound of slapping handshakes filled the air. The boys gathered around him, hailing him in loud voices, as it was their tradition. Soon, they were back to the papers. As usual, they'd skipped the editorial on Politics and Crime, glanced through Lifestyle and Entertainment Gists and headed to the Sports section, reading through it with undivided attention. Of course, Unnecessary arguments were the order of the day. They chatted with reckless abandon, mimicking their favorite sport personalities. They would have stayed the whole day but for the Sun, whose heat was far from being benevolent and made them rather too uncomfortable.
The boys began to disperse now. They left in twos and threes. Taofeek was heading home now. He had a couple of things to do at home; tidy up his room, do some laundry, get something to eat and rest. Oh! Drop by Mama Bintu's.

Sunset was near. The cool evening breeze had replaced the warm air. The moon waiting to unpack her stuff. Taofeek was dressed in a denim and a Haute Couture Shirt, he bought from one of his guys. He stared at the dressing mirror endlessly checking out for flaws in his dressing. He was out to slay.
About an hour later, Taofeek joined his four friends; Alex, Salem, Afolabi and Tejiri at a bar. They were going to be here for a couple of hours before they hit the club. As a norm, to while away time, They talked about dough(money), girls and their sexcapades over Asun(Barbeque) and a couple of drinks.
'Last night was mad.' The big-mouthed Salem began. 'That babe was fire. She was insatiable...'
'Hmmm.' Salem sighed. 'Guy I envy you o. That babe wey I carry na correct no show. She too lazy.' Alex lamented.
'Na so e dey be sometimes shaa.' Salem burst into laughter, Afolabi and Tejiri joined in too. They continued talking and cracking jokes with Salem rattling off the most.

Gbam!!! They arrived at the club. The Five parted at the entrance, each going to search for a girl that will relieve his raging hormones and take a chance on a love that burns hot enough to last.
The atmosphere in the club was still the same. The characteristic loud dancehall music was blaring from the speakers, everyone dancing furiously and the hypnotizing neon lights was present too.
As his usual practice, after dancing. Taofeek found a place to sit, ordered a bottle of beer and a packet of cigarettes. He was going to smoke and drink till he was Stone-Cold. No bed sessions for him. He couldn't have one even though he longed for one.

Oh dear! I forgot to say....Taofeek was Impotent.
